Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model and advocate for animal rights in America. Ali MacGraw is well-known for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born and raised into an creative family. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant before moving on to modeling and acting. She was awarded her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as an aspiring young actress. MacGraw's movie Love Story was an international smash, and earned her the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. After just three short films, MacGraw was declared the most successful female film in the history of box offices. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were engraved in 1972 at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other credits comprise The Getaway Convoy Players, the miniseries on TV The Winds of War and many more. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography by her, came out. MacGraw has been married three times.
