Rachelle Lefevre
Rachelle Lefevre is a Canadian. The first time Lefevre was cast in a role came about when she was working at a restaurant. An Canadian film director came across her while Lefevre waited tables. She later moved into Los Angeles where she earned a part in What About Brian (2006). Lefevre who was a teenager working in an Montreal restaurant that served sushi, saw her plans to pursue a career as an actor. She made contact with the casting director. This eventually led to a role on a Canadian sitcom. She was featured in various shows of David. Kelley's Boston Legal (2004). That led her to a starring role in the 2008 U.S. adaptation of the BBC success Life on Mars. The family of her father is French and Lefevre was raised to speak predominantly English; she eventually moved to Los Angeles in 2004 due to a shortage of people who spoke English in Montreal. Lefevre landed her biggest film part yet with Catherine Hardwicke's film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight. The film is the first of a popular collection of novels for teens.
